Meet Bwalya!
Bwalya lives with her grandmother, uncle, and aunt. Her father passed away in poor health and her mother abandoned her. Bwalya remembers her father and misses him. Her grandmother sells local dishes at the market to support them and Bwalya helps her at home by fetching water, washing dishes, and sweeping. Jonah and the Whale is her favorite Bible story, and her favorite subjects at school are Bemba and Math. For fun, she likes to play soccer. Her favorite colors are blue and orange. She would like to become a nurse so she can help people who are sick.
